Sweeter By The Dozen

Our 12th Annual Gimme Shelter - Walk for the Animals will take place on June 10 at Indian Boundary Park, located at 2500 W. Lunt just west of  Red Door.

 

 It's a great way to enjoy the Park, meet some fellow animal lovers, have fun--and help out animals in need.   

 This year, Red Door is concentrating on raising money for our emergency rescue fund. So the more money you bring in, the more animals in dire need we can save.

The walk is short and easy--or you can just hang out in the park and enjoy our entertainment: pet psychic, musicians, doggy splash pools, doggy massages--and NEW this year-- a duck pond game for prizes.  It's lots of fun for pets and people too.  

  

 We start at 10 a.m.,

rain or shine. 

Pre-registration fee is 

$20 for adults, $5 for kids.  

 Registration on June 10 is

 $25 for adults, $10 for kids.

 No dog? No problem! This walk is for people who love all animals.

Tattoo You! Get Inked for the Animals February 20 & 21

If you've been thinking about getting inked, here is the perfect time: Don't miss Red Door's Tattoo You Event on February 20 and 21 at Insight Studios, 1062 N. Milwaukee, Chicago. Insight is Chicago's most progressive tattoo and pierciing studio and they will donate 100% of all profits from these two days to the homeless animals at Red Door.

Come out and support Red Door!

Come to Avieve Salon and Day Spa on Saturday October 10th from 9am-5pm, where a $10 donation gets you entered in a raffle of dozens of great prizes from local area businesses. Also, Red Door dogs will be there from 9am-11:30am for your viewing and adopting pleasure!
A portion of sales at Avieve that day will also go to support homeless dogs, cats, and rabbits at Red Door.

On June 19th from 5pm to 10pm, come to Il Fiasco (5101 N. Clark St.) for a Red Door fundraiser. A percentage of sales that night will go towards helping the Red Door animals. There will also be a great raffle with fabulous prizes. Don't miss out!
